Non Organic Celeb: Tickle Deodorant for Women, Remembering the AD

Not quite a living, breathing celeb, but back in the 1980's there was a deodorant marketed for women called Tickle. I think it was a roll on. A TV ad had a guy and gal in a rowboat and everytime she raised her sleeveless arm, he stroked her very sexy armpit resulting in a big smile from her and the involuntary lowering of her arm. This routine looked real and occured two or three times in the ad. 😀 The narrator explained how assured she was that she was very dry using tickle deodorant. Can any members remember this? Any other products named tickle that you are aware of?

The deodorant was called DRY IDEA. It was the only tv commercial dor this product although there was a nice magazine ad that had a cute woman in something sleeveless and an arrow pointing under her arm that read "Touch here if you want to see how smooth Dry Idea works" or something like that. I have both ads.

Tickle deodorant came out in the 70's and had no tickling in it. The women simply laughed or giggled.

as a matter of fact, there is someone on e-bay selling a compilation of commercials on video. It advertises one of the old tickle anti-perspirant commercials. I know the Dry Idea one is also floating around on the mainstream tapes (I have a copy). Maybe one of us can pick up the tape on e-bay and post the commercial. Do a search on tickle and video and commercial.
