[Druidici]

I will always miss her touch
Her gentle voice that I loved so much
Her melodic laugh,when she was glad
I miss her much and now am sad.

In my heart she'll always be
A scar upon my soul to see
I'll always remember her seductive smile
As we used to share love all the while

She would wrap her arms around my neck
Hug and kiss me and hold me near
There is nothing left,not one speck
And to not see her again would be my fear

But for now I must await
I hope to see her at Heaven's Gate

For my dearest friend Lillian who passed away several years ago
from cancer,Gone but not forgotten and I miss you very much.

This is beautiful and touching Druidici, wow! Sad too, thanks for sharing such a beautiful poem. My sister was just diagnosed that she has Cancer. Did you write this?

Yes I did write this myself.My friend Lilian was like a little sister to me and I often think of her about this time of year..I figured I owed her this at least.For you luv2bt&tickled,my dearest sympathies.I truly hope your sister pulls through.I lost my Mother February of last year after a 14 month bout with Pancreatic Cancer,my next poem will be for her for sure.
