not really sure where to start... I guess first, tickling is NOT my fetish. I am not opposed to the idea, as I am very open minded. I have a very close friend that tickling is his fetish, and we opened up to each other on this topic, so here I am.
I have been exploring the site, looking, learning, and would like to know more.
not even sure of what questions to ask, and being as I have my own 'quirks' (for lack of a better word) I understand that even though it's the same concept, each person views it differently or has their own perspective. That's what I'm here for, perspective.
So, clue me in, ask questions, whatever.
FOR THE RECORD: I am NOT here trying to find a new sexual partner or anything of that sort, just to cut that off at the start. I will blatantly ignore any sexual advances, but I will answer your questions honestly.

As you say, everyone's experiences are different, and what one person gets out of tickling another might run a mile. Others are turned on by the mention of the word.

In terms of personal perspective, for me it's a sex thing and a power thing, and as a fetish it is indelibly linked with sexuality. I'm more bi identified than anything else and I enjoy tickling men and women, ideally as part of foreplay. And I'm pretty ticklish myself but being a big guy that won't be happening without some negotiation -- and probably some good sturdy ropes. 😉

There are also a bunch of us who have tickling as a 'core kink', but branch out (and enjoy!) other elements of BDSM mixed in, such as spanking or flogging.

It's hard for me, personally, to think of a question perse to ask YOU -- I think you might pull more knowledge if you ask US. 🙂

"Dom" works, "top" is a fairly common term as well. This forum traditionally differentiates "ler" and "lee" (tickler, ticklee). I'm more a versatile top, tho, because, well I do enjoy it, but generally, I do feel it's better to give than to receive. 😉

Actually, having done a bit more exploring and talking with people, I get it, mostly.
It makes sense to me, but then it never really was confusing, per se.

I still don't quite grasp the control. I mean, it makes sense that when you are in the act, you SHOULD have full control over that persons reactions and laughter, but it just seems to me that it can get out of hand very quickly. I dunno, maybe I need to do a little more reading, eh?
