Not enough women and what to do about it

Hi, I'm from London.
I've had a look at a look at a bunch of threads on the UK personals and joined BigJim's Yahoo group (where no-body has posted for a month).

We all know that one thing is apparent with the ever-so-slowly (practically dead) growing scene in the UK and that is that there is a very low ratio of women to men.

I think BigJim had a good idea in suggesting we get together. Somehow we have got to get the ball rolling. But what would we do? A bunch of blokes around a pub table with possibly no women. Maybe one or two at best and then they'de have to be very brave. I should imagine it would be very intimidating for a woman to meet up with a bunch of strange blokes.

That's not want I want at all and I bet I'm not the only one. The whole reason I'm into tickling is because of women. (and a warped mind and childhood circumstances/experiences etc,etc of course).

We need to brainstorm fairly hard.
We need to find a way of driving inquisitive open minded women to tickling websites and more specifically to the TMF or BigJim's Yahoo group or any group.
What kind of sex sites do British women visit if any?
What site of any kind do the right type (open minded enough) of women visit?
We must be able to get an emailing list that includes this category of person.
We need to link them to the right places.
It needs promoting via the web.

There you are. I hope I've started something big. Or maybe it's just another lost cause.🙄 🙄 🙄 🙄

Uh, Count, it's a great idea, and one that's persisting in gatherings area. You're posting in the Personals section.

Clearly, there's timid women in the UK. Having met with women from there, and can say so plurally, there's more than one. Having corresponded with more, I can assure you that such exist. If you get no reply to your personal, do try the Gatherings section, and see if you can meet folks in a group.

Quite frankly, even knowin' friends into this helps "normalize" it for ya, makin' it easier to find a woman who's accepting of this, either out of generosity, or in exchange for HER kink (do keep in mind that if you have one, so does she, likely).

I would just like to ask dvnc if you are still in contact with any lovely ladies in the Uk and if so, could you direct them to BigJims site (URL is about sumwhere).

I know we have spoken about this sort of thing a while back but never really got anywhere with it! think if we want this to get off the ground in the Uk we need the expert knowledge of our friends Stateside, and who better but the master tickler himself dvnc .

So please share your wisdom and wealth of contacts and together we can finally get something up and running : . We need to work together

Heck, I already did that ages ago. Can't force folks to "out" themselves, though. Until the women in our community are given an environment wherein they feel comfortable and safe, they will likely remain as they are, now. Invisible.

If you folks do as BigJim, Del and SmashTV are attempting, and start meeting one another and developing friendships and common social habits together, you'll find there are many women in this community.

California seemed to have "no women into this" once upon a time. That changed. This is how. I recommend such, 'cause I don't think I'm so swell that they all came out for me. Pretty sure it was the friendships evident, and the safe social environs, that brought about some women showing, and then more of both genders showing.

It's why I know as many of us as I do. I'm not big online, and don't stay well known. I meet people and enjoy their company. Gotta show there's a safe place with friends around. Meet Del, BigJim, SmashUK, and EVERYONE that you can, and find your friends in this. The rest really does solve itself if you keep makin' monthly events. After all, the women are oft more interested in first KNOWIN' who they're visitin'. Find me 5 women who say they want to tickle someone they don't know and THEN get to know 'em, and I'll be amazed and impressed that you did.

I've great faith that you folks are on the brink of starting your own gatherings, without the need for my assistance. This pleases me immensely.

As always we are greatful for your help! Im glad you see the UK scene as a project. I feel we have needed guidance for a good many years but nthing has come to fruition. I agree that we may be on the brink, heres hoping anyway!

Well...I'm kind of new to this, but am also a member at BigJim's yahoo group...where there seems to be only 3 of us ladies who actually post at all. There must be more of us around, but when I mention it to female friends, they seem to think I'm some kind of freak.
