I was all alone yesterday, worked for 10 hours (at time and a half, so I can't complain), and my "Thanksgiving meal" consisted of a frozen pizza that I cooked.
I am a vegetarian, so while I do love general Thanksgiving food, I pass on the turkey. 🙂 Green bean casserole, mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce, pumpkin pie....yum~! Hope there's leftovers!
PS: My other friend who is a vegetarian would substitute tofurkey, though I'd rather just skip the whole ordeal. 🙂
I did verily feast upon ye oldie fattened bird...and doth scrumptiously consumed much vaulted mash potatoes...upon this much practiced day of giving thanks that a certain native american tribe was naive enough to not realize that while they were giving the colonial settlers incredible hospitality the settlers themselves were planning to GUT THEM ALL LIKE THE PIGS THEY WERE CURRENTLY FEASTING UPON.
we had turkey..it was yummy...we gave it a bath before cooking as it hadn't thawed out completely..pulling out the neck etc was a bit like being at the birth of a baby animal..ack.
