Not Orcs or Elves, but horrible Trolls.

I cannot spend much time explaining my opinions on this topic, but i'm sure many members will get the gist of my feelings:

It has come to my attention that Tickletheater is slowly growing more and more popular among the tickling community. Member counts are up and new posters are becoming frequent. Among them are many wonderful people, including the many artists who have made member fantasies come true. However, because of the massive influx of members, we are constantly plagued by the ever hated trolls.

I originally left the TMF because of the enormous number of malicious members and the ignorance of the mods who should be reprimanding them. I have begun to see the same situation eminating here, slowly but surely.

I feel that the mods of this community (while doing an awesome job of keeping order) are abit too lax in their judgement. I'm all for warnings or second chances, but I see far too many posters "getting away with murder".

Many young people post pictures of others or even themselves, a gift to the forum, only to have hateful words spat in their faces. I'm sure many feelings have been hurt from these replies, and i've seen even a few poor souls leave because of it.

I realize that this is a tickling forum and that fun is to be had by all; but something has to be done. Y'know, I originally felt that 90% of TT was minors, because of horrible grammar and rotten attitudes; but i've found that even adults are this attrocious and loutish.

My point is, I feel that certain actions should be taken to handle the overpowering number of trolls working their way into our community. Whether it be the images thread with hateful comments, or ungrateful members who have little to say beyond, "I h8 ur clps hur hur hur boobs *fapfapfapfap*"

Something has to be done to return Tickletheater to what it was famous for:
Friendly/helpful members.
Excellent content.

A love for tickling.

The day of reckoning must come for those who would strive to ruin what we have built and what we strive to keep.

These are problems that would be next to impossible to avoind without serious godmodding as the forum gets bigger and bigger. We have to maintain a friendly atmosphere AND a sense of freedom which a very hard balance.
We can't be everywhere. We rely on members to alert us to problem posts and problem members and we do take care to delete things that are purposfully offensive and disruptive. If you ever see anything that you think shouldn't be here PLEASE hit the "repot" button. it's woefully underused and it really does help us see what's going on.

Not to say that I diagree with what you are saying, but I don't quite see TT degrading to that level. Now maybe you are just trying to nip it before it happens, but what exactly is "getting away with murder" classified as?

As far as grammar and spelling go, not everyone on earth is going to be genious in these categories. I don't even see how you can group being a bad speller or having bad grammar into being a troll, that just makes no sense to me. Also, this is the internet, people have created shortcuts in normal language to increase efficiency.

I don't think TT has changed, and I think it still embodies the three things you listed. Please if you are going to post a topic like this support what you say with links to other topics, it will help others in seeing what exactly you are trying to argue/prove/say.

This was simply an outlandish, albeit irrelevant statement. I never said that it made you a troll. Please, thoroughly read through a person's post before you make a comeback.

However, I admit it was abit excessive, but it was a vent more than anything else. If you'd like a sample, simply visit the image forums, we get trolls in there almost daily.

Ness, thank you for the reply. I apologize if I "stepped on any toes" by my words, as I admire what you mods do for the community. However, I still feel that more veterans should be granted mod status so as to assist in this endeavor.
