Both Imagevenue and Photobucket try to install spyware on your system whenever you acess an image on their site.
If you have a choice of where to put the images you're going to give us links to, please use Imageshack. They do hit you with popups, but those are just annoying, not dangerous the way spyware is.
I catch these unauthorized background downloads because I deliberately use a slow, dialup connection just to be able to. If you have any high speed connection,like cable, DSL, Broadband,etc., the download may go by so fast you don't even notice it.
If you've been on either Imagevenue of Photobucket lately, I strongly reccommend running your antispyware program(s) NOW.

Interesting. I can't speak for Imagevenue, but my spyware program has never found anything after using photobucket. I'll have to do some experimenting! Thanks for the info.
