Too weird.. now that you guys made me think of it... it does add something to see the ticklee's shoes near by!
I imagine it gives the feeling like you just took them off and started the tickling. Hmmm... very interesting thread!

I agree, shoes removed, and then placed nearby are great. By the way, are we saying we don't like 4 " stilletos or we do? I love 'em. I also like basic flats or anything slingback. 🙂

I always thought it would be a cool idea, say if the shoes were high heels, that the shoes could hang on a string or some such thing right in front of the ticklee's face, kind of like a taunt, reminding her that protection for her bare feet is sooooooo close..... but not quite in reach.

Agreed with Dark Knight: it's weird to hear that the most intriguing are the shoes, not the objects of tikling😀 For me, it's really doesn't matter: are there shoes or none - when the video is good enough, detales are not the most, whe it's bad - even them can't save it.
It's little details like these that make a good video great. I have yet to see a fully detailed video, by the way. (Maybe one day I'll write a story...)
It's like, why are some movies okay, and others great? Because of all the little nuances that add to it. The thoughts behind the tickling sometimes are almost as good as the tickling itself. That's why many people like plots, even if they involve no words. Like, someone works late and is tickled at work. You see her dangling her heel, knowing what will happen soon. But if she has a nice outfit on, the video is better. And maybe a pen that has a feather on the end in her assortment of pens. How she carries herself - sexy, innocent, whimsical... Does she have a bounce in her step, a very professional walk, a slight skip, like she is a playful person? All these things are great and involve no words.
You could shoot the shoes on the desk, and slowly pull back to reveal the bottom of her feet being stroked by her own feather pen, while the shoes are in the foreground. Then slowly turn the camera so that you can see the shoes in the foreground, her feet being tickled, and her face laughing silly.
Maybe one day that will be in a video....

Right on the money
My favorite top (and video business partner) ALWAYS takes my shoes off as slowly as possible, leaving one on for awhile, and always leaves them in view. The presence of the shoes (and hose in some cases) is always a part of our play; in the first video we did with me as the 'lee, bound and on my tummy, he actually took off my silver high heeled sandal and placed it on my backside-he wanted me to keep it balanced up there despite the insane tickling he was giving my foot at the time...needless to say it fell more than once (which was somehow my fault!)🙄

I think stripping feet (shoes,socks) during/before tickling is part of the anticipation factor i suppose - wow deep eh? lol.
