notification emails

For the last week or so, I haven't been getting emails notifying me I have messages or PMs waiting, even though my forum settings say I should. Anybody know why?

I've been getting mine, so it's not a forum glitch. Maybe they're ending up in your spam filter?

i had no idea the forum can notify you via email about pms. is it in the options?

This same sort of thing actually happened to me some time ago at the TickleTheater (Which runs basically the same vbulletin). The forum refused for some incomprehensible reason to send email to my normal address. Normally I'd think a spam filter grabbed it, but my email is through my domain, and I make sure that I recieve EVERYTHING. I eventually had to switch to a different email to get notifications. Whether it is a glitch or something else, I could not say, but switching emails might fix it. If you'd like, I can send you a Gmail invite (Gmail is Google's email service). That'll give you a new email to test out, and if it works, you can tell Gmail to forward email to your regular email address, enabling you to recieve your email just as before.

Go to your User CP, click on "Edit Options" on the left, and go to "Messaging & Notification" and check which notifications you want to recieve.

I don't know what the point of Message getting emails is o.o Eventually you will gravitate back here and see them in your pm box. ^^
