When Ross got to the office that day, he was confronted by the usual "Petty bullshit" as Ross's father liked to say.

Ross spoke to Fritz that day, and Fritz told Ross pointedly. "My best friend and partner, please, you need to go up to Toronto tomorrow either for the day or overnight. You need to see Mister Fish. We need to go over the exact potential for the fields in Canada, and to see if John has any idea of a time frame of events in both Canada, and maybe, even Alaska. We have to push that along" Fritz said.
"Okay, partner. I knew I had to go see John. I will call him when I get off with you, figure out things, and make a flight for tomorrow, staying either just tomorrow and coming home, or overnight, and will be back the day after. I will also come to OKC ASAP, but I want to deal with John and Canada first" Ross said.
"Good, call us while you are up there" Fritz said.
"Of course" Ross said.
Ross worked through the day, hoping that his trip to Toronto would be productive.
When Ross got home, after saying hello to Kayley, he undressed, and told her about Toronto.;
"I need to go up and see John Fish tomorrow. Hopefully for the day, if not just overnight. Fritz wants me to push the Canada fields along, and try to figure out something with Alaska. " Ross said.

That night, when Ross tried to touch Kayley, she pulled away. "Ross, I'm tired. When you get home from seeing John, I promise, okay?" Kayley said.

The next morning, Ross rose early, packed his bag in case he needed to stay overnight, kissed Kayley goodbye lightly, and headed to JFK for his flight to Toronto.,
Ross's flight took about ninety minutes, and he arrived at the office about nine.
"Good morning, John, how goes it?" Ross said, bumping fists with John.
"Good, yourself, here is some tea" John said, handing Ross a cup of hot tea.
"Thanks" Ross said.
The men sat down, and got down to business.
"Ross, it really looks like things are coming along. While we are not booming along like you, Fritz and Steve are with your Oklahoma and Texas fields, we seem to have nice, steady finds in all of the places we drill. I'm thinking we can keep putting together deals of say, two hundred people, either every other month, or every quarter, so it will be a fine income stream for all of us. " John said.
"Ross smiled. "That sounds just fine, partner. Might we get Fritz and Steve on the phone to discuss all of this?" Ross said.
"I was thinking the very same thing" John said, picking up the phone for a conference call with Fritz and Steve.
The four men got on the call, and everyone seemed , pleased with the outcome.
"Ross, while you are up here, I would appreciate if you could do something for me? I told a friend of mine that I am in many business deals with you and your great partners and friends from Oklahoma and what kind of an excellent businessman you are. This guy likes "Straight shooters" as your Dad likes to say. How about we call him, and let's say, arrange a lunch meeting with him. We will both go in there, and then I will slip away, and you just please talk to the guy, and we will talk about it tomorrow on the phone" John said.
Ross felt a bit.. annoyed, and like a message boy, but he knew he had to be agreeable due to how important John was to Fritz, Steve, and Ross, so Ross said. "Sure, John. However you want to play it is fine with me" Ross said.
John called his friend, and arranged a meeting for Ross, John, and John's friend, Kevin for lunch at one.
When the men got to the place, John introduced Ross and Kevin to each other. After ordering lunch. John got a call on his cell phone, which was really a fake signal from his secretary, but was John's cue to leave.
"I know that you guys dont know each other that well, but, being in business with both of you as I am, I have confidence that you can have a productive discussion, and then we will talk about it tomorrow. Ross, we are done here, so if you want to go home tonight, be my guest" John said.
"Okay, John, talk to you tomorrow" Ross said.
Ross and Kevin had an excellent lunch, talking about potential business ventures, joint company buys, oil and gas exploration, and everything,. Privately, to himself, Ross felt it was probably more productive than anything Ross had ever done with John, because of John's "Hard Assed " attitude, even more so that Ross.
By the time the long meeting was over, it was four pm. Since it was winter, it was starting to get dark in Toronto.
Ross decided to just go to the airport, and get on the next plane home, figuring he would see Kayley when he saw her.
Ross sat on the flight home, figuring that his meeting with Kevin had been a productive day. Somehow, Ross, Fritz, Steve,and John would find common ground with Kevin to make deals that would be beneficial to all of them.
Ross got on a seven pm flight home, which landed at JFK at 830. Into an Uber Ross went, and figured he would be home at nine. He still did not call Kayley, even though he probably should have.
Ross went upstairs, and the apartment was dark. He thought that Kayley might have a migraine, or was working on grading papers and had simply run out of energy.
To have some light, Ross turned on a night light in the hall, and quietly made his way into the bedroom.
Something seemed strange, very strange.
It looked like there were .. two people in bed, one lying on top of another.

Sure enough, there were two people in bed.
Kayley was stunned. "Ross, Oh My God!"
"What the hell is this? Miss, I'm so faithful! You, up and out of bed!"" Ross said, pulling up the blond haired person lying on top of Kayley.
"Ross! Stop It ! Dont hurt her!" Kayley screamed.
Ross was stunned when he looked at the person, it was a tall.. naked woman, with long blond hair!
Ross was disgusted. "You Hypocrite! You miserable bitch! Adultery! You're a lesbian , Kayley Ann! Not only did you cheat on me, but you are a lesbian and did not tell me!" Ross shouted.
Ross was so stunned that he could not move! Unlike when Ross had his one slip up with Alicia, Ross and Kayley were together privately, and Ross was able to confess his event to Kayley with feeling.
Kayley had not said a word! Ross had entered a darkened room, and turned on a light, to see Kayley in bed.
Kayley had cheated on Ross, and might well be a bi sexual or lesbian.
Ross wanted to leave, but his feet did not move!
What would the explanation be?
Who was the mysterious blond woman who Ross had found naked in bed with Kayley? Who herself was also naked when Ross had walked in on the whole sordid event?
