Inspired by last night's TMF radio chat, post anything taco related right here. It can be whatever is on your mind concerning the wonderful world of tacos. Anyway, why is it that Taco Bell has about 3 times the number of flies in their restaurant than any other fast food chain? Meh... maybe it's just the one near me. Engage discussion! 😛

I like tacos but I have a question. Why is it that when I go to a local Taco Bell for Mexican food it is staffed and managed by Caucasions, but when I want a Quarter Pounder from McDonalds I have to take a Spanish translation dictionary with me to get the order right? It must just be an Indiana thing. I once went to a very fancy Chinese restaurant and we were escorted to our table by the Hungarian hostess.

Aw man, walked right into that one. There are real fish tacos at real restaurants, though. Always sounded pretty good. 😛

Ah, tacos, one of nature's perfect foods. I'm a fan of all kinds, but especially al pastor. Being from Los Angeles, I'm sort of spoiled, as there are at least hundreds of places in the city where you can get tacos the way you get them from a street vendor in TJ (East Coasters sometimes look down on LA's culinary offerings, and while I do envy New York's pizza and delis, it's common knowledge that you can't get good Mexican food outside of a few states, most of them on the border).

I reccomend King Taco, possibly the most iconic Mexican chain in Southern California.

When i was working in the pest control business we had a lot of Taco Bells as customers.Flies are the least of their problems.I'd sooner eat out of the dumpster out back.

Authentic tacos? Yum.

White people tacos? Not so much.

Speaking of which, after a long night of drinking beer and cranberry juice and vodka and shots of Jameson, me and the boyfriend wobbled home and on the way got some tacos. I specifically remember telling the boyfriend to get guacamole on mine as I smoked a cigarette outside.

We got home and my hopes were dashed when I realized all my tacos consisted of was carne-asada bubble gum and lettuce shreds.

Not even any sour cream or chihuahua cheese.

As I was drunk, I still gobbled them up, but the thought of what could have been still haunts me.

My Aunt Teresa made the best tacos.

I can't wait to get back to Arizona soon to see the rest of mi familia.
