Officially open...The Tickle Scene!

While there is still work to be done, I am pleased to announce the official opening of the new web site...The Tickle Scene This site is the result of discussion between gathering hosts on how to better serve the community...both through the private gathering experiences we host and in educating folks about safety and fun issues.

This site consists of articles, gathering information and fun resources. While we know that some folks have expressed interest in the games section, we HIGHLY recommend that the articles on safety and awareness during play be read first. Any feedback is more than welcome.

Very well done. Great content and layout. My only criticism is with the XXX banner that adorns the site, especially since it's there before a declaration of age is assumed. Pretty graphic banner...

BTW, if anyone is on the hunt for a free adult server, to put up your own tickle site, these guys seem fairly decent. I've had a couple of little things come up...one was my mistake and the other was in their system. They were very good and quick in responding to both. You have to deal with the banners like anywhere. But, otherwise they're good. It's http://www.answerz.com

It's a different banner each time the site is loaded...They should not require a banner on the warning page of the site......

I think the site will obviously fill a huge need for a lot of folks who want to take a step into the gathering scenes!

I am also in agreement of the opening page banner. I just popped in to see how the updates were coming along and got a nice non-minor-friendly peek at some very graphic oral activity. Not very convincing in the "go check out our minors' page" comment. I wonder if they would agree to a request to remove a banner from a non-content page. 😕

That's certainly a possibility I intend to check out. I couldn't even pull up the banner link that Q passed along. I'll check things out with them and maybe put the warning page in my AT&T space if they won't allow that page to be without. I KNOW there won't be any banners there. Thanks for the feedback guys.

I love this site. I really do hope people will read the articles and not just look for games. The information is just too valuable to be missed. I had the awesome pleasure of talking on the phone with Chris M. this weekend. His writing gives me shivers. He has put into the written word, so many things I have been trying to communicate over the last 5 years. I am just not that good a writer.

Where else is the site being advertised? Maybe Jeff/Myriads would like to put it on the front page of the TMF?

Maybe some of the other people here with tickling websites might like to add a link?

There's no advertisement yet. I want to get things a bit more complete and be sure this host is going to work out. Jeff offered space, which is another option. But, I hate to have all our goodies on his server at the same time. If it ever went down, we'd lose everything. It's not out of the question, though. Once everythig is pretty well set and we're sure of the home, I'll be contacting other site owners to pass along the links. I've also got things set to add it to several search engines.

And, as to the thanks...you're very welcome. I need to have SOMETHING to do sitting here all day! lol Seriously, I'd like to also point out that this is an idea that arose from discussion with my fellow gathering hosts. They are the inspiration and support behind it. So, thanks to THEM!

If you want real control of your server system get a dedicated server with NTT/VERIO. They're the big boys when it comes to hosting. I am very satisfied with they're service. A bit costly, but worth it to me.

Thanks, DM. But, we aren't able to put money into this. That's why we're doing free servers. If we can't work around this, we'll simply take Jeff up on his generous offer. (Then I'll have to learn how to use his system! 😕 lol) I just wrote them to check on the banner issue and offer a possible solution for them to remedy the situation. We'll see what I hear back. So far, they've been very good about everything else.

The ad banners are how hosting resellers are able to offer free sites. I would be surprised if they will host you without a banner to draw revenue in to them. Good luck.

I ddidn't ask that it be removed from the content pages...only the warning page. At any rate, they are unable to do so with the way the program is written...as expected. I'll be placing a duplicate warning page elsewhere.

Maybe they have their system set up so they can block your IP address from viewing it on purpose?

I loved the games section lol to bad there´s no ticklephile girl´s near Lisbon to try some of those games...they surely sound reall fun!

Guess I´ll have to chat with you for ideas when I finish college and get to real work cause I´ll probably be on a creative one 🙂

LOL 😉 Actually, I just take the ideas others toss out there and run with them. The only thing that was entirely my own idea was the Tickle Chamber. Once I get the more important stuff done, I'll be moving that and playing with it again. (It's in desperate need of updates...esp. the links section!)

A while back, Jeff came up with the excellent idea of a teen site to support them while keeping them away from inappropriate material in the adult tickling sites. I was one of those asked to work on it. Since it's a worthy project, I did what I could to help get things rolling.

The Tickle Scene is an idea that several of us who are gathering hosts came up with as a group. We wanted to get the word out about upcoming gatherings and help people learn safety issues that should be considered in order to have better experiences. Again, I simply took the idea and ran with it.

The only reason you see more of me in things is because my health prevents me from working a normal job. So, I have plenty of time to sit and play with things. It keeps me from going insane on those days when doing anythig physical is out of the question. On the days when it effects my concentration as well, I don't get much accomplished. But, fortunately those days aren't as often.

Guess I´ll have to chat with you for ideas when I finish college and get to real work cause I´ll probably be on a creative one 🙂
