ok ok what is the real truth with the movie Halloween???

so i was watching the original Halloween again, and because i was told that Jamie Lee was actually Mike's sister, i watched closely..no mention of that..in fact she had parents and their last name wasn't Myers...so then i googled the premise behind Halloween...wow you can google anything did you know that? oops i digress..anyway..no mention of him being her brother..just that he stalked her and her friends..probably because he saw her when she dropped off the key at the front door to the Myer home for her father...

then last night i'm watching Halloween H2O...and the premise is she is his long lost sister...which makes no sense whatsoever...

so what happened? did the producers change the plot somewhere along the horrendous amount of sequels? did he indeed get mixed up himself?

is Jamie his sister or not...damn i hate confusion...

Yes, Laurie is the sister of Judith and Michael. Michael killed Judith when Michael was 6. That is the first scene early on in the movie. Laurie was adopted by the Strodes thus her name changes from Meyers to Strode. Very early on in a flashback I believe in Halloween 2 you see a young Laurie with her real parents visiting Michael at Smith's Grove sanatorium.

More info... just checked a few things. Laurie is five years younger than Michael. The Meyers probably moved right after the murder, but stayed in Haddonfield. Then she is given up for adoption, but she still stays in Haddonfield. I think her original parents died in a car crash. So that is why Laurie never recognized the house when she dropped off the key. She was only a infant when the murder happened and everything was kept hush, hush.
