Mister P handed Ross an iced tea, still grinning.

Ross sat down in his chair , and was still puzzled about why Steve and Fritz were grinning.

"Two reasons for the grins, Mister New York City. One, we may have another company to pull up and add. Also, we found someone reputable who is an "Energy Broker" He will and would do all the work for us, for not such an astronomical, and very worthwhile fee" Steve said.

Ross sighed. "Sounds promising. Okay, so what happens next?"

"The Energy Broker situation will take some time. We will get on a conference call with him while you are down here. The other company is in Texas. Since we are trying to conserve your energy, and want to just do a couple of shows to keep us all busy, we can talk to the guy from Texas on a conference call after a brief show. You will be on your way by Wednesday late afternoon" Steve said.

Ross smiled. "Thanks. Sounds good"

Ross, Fritz and Steve talked a bit, went to an early dinner, and then went back to the hotel.

Ross checked in with Kayley.

"How do you feel?" Kayley asked.

"Tired, but okay. No symptoms. We had dinner, and I'm just resting at the hotel. Fritz and Steve know my health situation, and we are just going to do two brief shows, and a couple of conference calls. I hope to be in the door by dinner time Wednesday night, okay?:" Ross said.

"Best thing, most importantly for your health. Have a good night. I will talk to you tomorrow night. Love You" Kayley said.

"Love You too, VP" Ross said.

Ross went to sleep that night, had breakfast with Fritz and Steve the following morning, and then went to the fields with about 100 investors.

The Foreman, and Steve talked, while Mister P and Ross sat silently.

Thirty five people took contracts,. Not bad. Ross, Fritz and Steve knew that while a show could be disappointing, their new focus was not shows, but also new sources of energy, and to try to build up a situation with Jim in Canada. Ross, Fritz and Steve agreed that if they had six months or a year's worth of underperforming shows in Oklahoma and Texas, and still built up a new source of solid Canadian company with Jim, there was nothing for any of them to complain about.

When Ross, Fritz and Steve got back to the office, it was only mid afternoon.,

At that point, the three men got on a conference call with the energy broker.

Steve started to explain to the broker.

"Sometimes, we are so busy running RFS, that we do not have time to always search for new sources to put investors into, or sell to commercial clients. Thus, this is where you come in" Steve told the broker.

"Steve, I believe I can definitely be of help to you, Fritz, and your partner Ross" The broker said.

"Great., Tell you what., Please send one proposal to One Southwest Plaza , Oklahoma City, and another to RossShell Marketing, 495 Madison Avenue, New York, New York. The New York office is our partner Ross's office when he is home. We will all look at it, talk on conference calls, and then figure out what to do. If we like what we see, I am thinking we can agree to something in about 30 days" Steve said.

"Just fine. Thanks, and I look forward to talking to you" The broker said.

Steve clicked the broker off, and looked at Ross, and Fritz.

"Sounds promising. Hope he can help us. It will save all of us a lot of work, finding companies and sources to buy,. and maybe even in locating investors" Steve said.

After this, Steve, Fritz, and Ross called the man involved with the company in Texas. Steve and Fritz had already read the "preliminary numbers, and now Ross, Fritz, and Steve wanted to hear the guy out on the phone.

"Guys, thanks for taking time out to call me. Ross, as I told Steve, I'm trying to sell my company. I',m getting older. With the position that all of you, and the RFS company are in, I think you can and could well fold my entire company, or at least the energy assets into RFS, and it would be good for all of you going forward" The man said.

"Sounds interesting., What price would you want?" Ross said.

"This is a medium sized company, for 100 million. Of course, we can talk about the numbers" The man said.

"Okay, once we look at it, how long would you want a deal to be closed in?" Ross asked.

"No major rush. Standard. About ninety days I figure. Time for us to talk, to have RFS people survey my assets, we talk back and forth. This is by no means a "Rush and run or pressure deal" The man said.

"Sounds excellent to us. How about this. Send us the information. You have Mister P's and my address. Please send Ross's to RossShell Marketing 495 Madison Avenue, New York, New York. We will examine things, and definitely keep in touch" Steve said.

"Great,. thanks to all of you for your time" The man said.

Steve clicked the man off.

"Well, Gentlemen, good friends, and business partners. We have had a productive couple of days., We located someone to hopefully broker us new sources, and not have to kill ourselves, or waste time. We have a potential new source of energy for RFS that does not sound like it is astronomically expensive or risky. Are we, finally having things go our way for a change?" Steve said.

"Steve, think about it, compared to the craze and chaos I've dealt with at RossShell and RFS over the years, Tazzio, George, etc. Our business has been remarkably orderly. We've had deals that have not been as good as we would have liked. We had the one major problem with losing RFS Canada due to what John Fish pulled. Now, it seems like, if Heaven willing all goes through with Jim, we might even or even likely will, escape that, and build a new Canadian Company" Ross said.

"I know, partner. Ross, I know you pushed yourself to come down there, even though you dont look that bad. Let's have dinner tonight, sleep over, and please get on a plane tomorrow morning. I'm sure that the VP will be happy to have you home" Steve said.

"Yes Sir, Mister White. We had a productive trip. Thus, going home is fine" Ross said.

Ross, Fritz, and Steve had dinner at a steakhouse. Then, Ross was driven back to the hotel, where the men said goodbye, and Ross said he hoped he would be back for his usual monthly trip the following month.

Ross called Kayley. "VP, we had what I hope was a very productive trip. I will be home at a decent hour tomorrow. Hopefully by the time you get home, or if not, very soon after. We should be able to have dinner together tomorrow. Oh, and I feel fine, just a bit tired, okay, so please dont worry. " Ross said.

"Okay, no worry. Will be glad to have you home" Kayley said.

"I will be glad to be home" Ross said.

The couple hung up, and Ross had a 10 am flight to JFK via DFW.

The flight would get into NY about 330 pm NY time, so even with trafffic, Ross would surely be home by 430-5.

The next morning, Ross checked out of the hotel early, went to OKC Airport, boarded, flew to DFW, then to JFK connecting. He jumped in an Uber home, and was home in about 45 minutes with traffic.

Ross opened the door, and saw Kayley lying on the couch.

Kayley rose, and went over to kiss Ross. "VP was waiting for her man. So happy to have you home. You look okay, so please pay attention to this VP who loves you so much, and dont do any more nasty, old business" Kayley said, covering Ross with kisses.

Ross sat down, and kicked off his shoes.

"VP, I did enough business the last two days. We had what we hope was a very productive trip. Let;s just sit here and rest, and then if you want I can shower, and take you out to dinner. I feel pretty decently. " Ross said.

Ross felt his cell phone beeping in his pocket, but when he went to take it out of his pocket, Kayley pulled it out of his hands.

"Kale,. Please just look at it. As long as it's not my Dad, I wont call back whoever it is until later or tomorrow, I promise" Ross said.

Kayley glanced at Ross's cell phone. Luckily, it was not Ross's father. It was something about business.

Ross would wait to answer that call.

What was the call?

That would be seen, after hopefully a nice night of relaxation and love with Kayley.

I love the way these guys through around money in hundred-million-dollar units. 😛

One of the most sensible things that Ross has ever said.

PS: I just had to check. Ross's business address, 495 Madison Avenue, is at the corner of East 52nd Street. A very expensive neighborhood, as expected.

Mils, to billionaires like Ross, Tim, Fritz, and Steve, one hundred million is nothing.

Ross had to be sensible, he is exhausted.

495 Madison Avenue was an address I just made up in my head.

For many years, from the late 1970s, until early 1990s, my father and at times his ex business partner, worked at 595 Madison Avenue, in the middle of 57th and Madison, another "High brow" area for people who were successful.

More to come I hope by tomorrow night. You commented quickly today. Thanks.

Let me see how my energy level is. Its been on and off this week.
