Ross left on Monday morning for his OKC trip. The trip was scheduled from Monday morning until late Wednesday.
When Ross got to OKC, Ross put his case down in the office, briefly met with Fritz and Steve, and then the three men went to the field for a "Giant 200 person show"
Both Steve and the foreman lectured for over an hour about the company, investment, return, and other relevant topics
In the end , 85 people signed up.
Ross, Steve and Fritz thanked everyone, and went back into OKC for an early dinner.
At the steakhouse they usually "hung out" in, Fritz and Steve told Ross of two meetings scheduled for either Tuesday or Wednesday. Both were very interesting prospects. The meetings were with two sets of people. One guy owned two companies that he wanted to "dispose of" This guy had one partner in one company, and another partner in another company. Ross, Fritz and Steve agreed that if they could snare even one, it would be a good buy.
When Ross got back to the hotel, Ross called Kayley, whom he awakened, and who sounded like she was exhausted. "I will talk tomorrow. A lot of administrative work bogging me down" Kayley mumbled.
"Okay, have a good night" Ross said.
The next day, Ross, Fritz and Steve met with the aforementioned guy and his two different partners. Both companies involved were worth about one hundred million. After the two meetings, Ross,. Fritz and Steve agreed that they trusted the main person involved, but that while they trusted the secondary partner in one deal, they did not trust the secondary partner in the other deal. Thus, to keep peace, Ross, Fritz and Steve agreed that they would tell the main guy that RFS had the capital to do one deal, but not both deals.
When they called the guy involved, it was agreed that all of the geology work would be examined by RFS geologists, and, once the geologists agreed and approved, the deal would be given to the lawyers and signed.
All in all, it would be a nice, quick, wrapped deal.
To avoid exhaustion, Ross called Kayley and told her that he would fly home the next morning, and be there the next afternoon.
Kayley just said. "Yes,. Okay"
Ross's plane took off from OKC at 10 am OKC time, landing in JFK at 3.
Kayley was not home yet when Ross arrived at the apartment at 4.
At nearly 5, Kayley came home.
Kayley was wearing pants, and black stockings. She appeared to be in a bad mood
Ross handed her an iced tea, and sat on the couch with her.
When Ross offered Kayley a foot massage , Kayley just said. "No"
Ross figured that Kayley was tired, so he did not push the issue.
After dinner, Kayley went to bed, barefoot of course.
It was only 9 pm, but, on his home answering machine, Ross got a message from a guy "Wanting to meet him about RossShell" in regard to a partnership buy in or buy out.
Ross, who was trying to stay in a good mood after his positive OKC trip, but who was puzzled by Kayley's almost stand offish behavior and attitude, brushed the message off.
Ross quietly crawled into bed, and did not even touch Kayley. He just stayed on "his side of the bed"

"No more On Demand Foot Play! I am Sick Of It! Grow Up! You're a 53 year old man! This means no foot smelling, ladder climbing, tickling, and foot kissing!" Kayley said, her voice cutting again.
Ross opened his eyes, stunned, not knowing what to say.
Ross wanted to believe that Kayley was either in a terrible mood, was not feeling well, or would know that she was wrong , get up in the morning, and apologize.
Ross himself fired at Kayley.
"Okay Then, Kayley Ann, How about Kayley dressing up in a black Dom outfit? Kayley screaming at Ross, and Kayley spanking and humilating Ross? Is that over too, you withholding bitch!?" Ross said, getting out of bed, and heading toward the guest room.
Was the marriage of Ross and Kayley about to drastically change after thirty years? Was the marriage about to fall apart? Or. was this just an incident where both partners had just "Lost their mind" about how they always satisfied each other, would deeply think it over, and would retract their drastic and hurtful statements?
