Online Book shopping research

If you guys and gals were shopping at LULU or Chapters or Barnes and Noble or other online book retailers for your children, nieces, nephews, younger sisters and younger brothers, or younger cousins or God-children, out of the options I list in the poll or write your own, which would you buy for them for their birthday or Hanukkah or Christmas or other special occasion that you would buy them a gift?

Though I have no kids to shop for, I believe I'd gravitate toward the illustrated fiction novel. It's the sort of literature that engaged me most at a young age... I found the pictures a good spur for interest in the text. I was also rather partial to illustrated non-fiction books (nature or historical themes), where images were often essential for complete comprehension of the subject.

I'd probably buy a "How to draw" book, because when i was a little child i got one (not mine, lent) and i enjoyed it very much, but of course that depends mainly of child's taste.

I don't have children, but I do have nieces and nephews, and a how to draw or a coloring book for the younger ones seems like the best choice to me... then again, that would depend on the child's tastes as cosquillero said 🙂

Well, I only have a young cousin in the family who's learning how to draw, so I guess I would pick the "How to" book. 😀

I think I had some success. A couple hundred dollars was added to my Paypal account. Either a lot of books were sold or someone made a mighty donation to me. :leaf::super_hap
