Open Polling

Whether through design or my own stupidity, I don't believe I can create polls in the tickling polls section. It also seems like high ranking poobahs are the only ones starting those. So, if you do need rank to make one, why? Wouldn't it be better if anyone could make a poll? There'd be more going on in there, and it's fun to vote on things and weigh in with your opinion. Unless its surprisingly complicated, I'd expect we could handle it. Polling for the people!

Only the mods and admins can create polls in Tickling Polls. I think it is that way because the polls there persist on the front page. You could create a poll in the Tickling Discussions section, however, and PM a staff member about moving it to Tickling Polls if it proves popular.

something tells me that if the admins and the mod changed the rule to have only them to create a poll, they must have a very good reason in my opinion. For no matter what forum or site it is, you have to have a mod and/or admin that are not only a responsible but also very wise, otherwise chaos will probably occur or may fall to a close.

I may be alittle disappointed that I can't create a poll, but no matter. Beggers can't be choosers.

Well yeah, generally this is the case, but sections of forums like this are meant for receiving feedback on the site itself in case members have good suggestions to share.

Carn was only using the forum for it's intended purpose. ^.^
