Actually, I don't believe that I have ever made more than 250 posts in one day. I have done it three or four days in a row, though, and easily exceeded 1000 for the week.

I think HDS's record is 600+ posts the day before he went away for summer vacation. I don't aspire to break that record, or even approach it.

It is amazing to note that AMK used to be regarded as a maniac poster, for making about 30 or 40 posts in a day. I can do that in one hour flat on the Humor Forum now, if there's somebody else there to bounce replies with.

That was the turning point in obsessive posting, the establishment of the Humor Forum. 😀

To the charge that I am wasting my time, I can only reply that I used to waste it by watching cable TV, which is entirely passive. At least in the Humor Forum, I am responding to other people and exercising my fingers. 😛
