I've asked this for a while in the period where I was confident I would have children. Now I am not so sure I will have them, but that is another matter. What I wanted to ask you and was a lot on my mind, would you like your children to have the same fetish as most of us have? What would you think about it if it would happen? What kind of event would it be for you? Please tell me.

well, if your kids had the same fetish as you, it could be considerably easier to talk to them about it due to experience, compared to them having a fetish you yourself normally wouldn't even think about XP
If they do share the same fetish, you can let them know to try to control their urges, especially once puberty hits.

There are certain things that are private, only to be shared between significant others.

It would be exceedingly creepy, bordering on traumatic if my mom started telling me about how she likes being tickled and I imagine my children would feel the same way towards me, even if we shared this interest.

I DO, however, want for my children, should they have some sort of fetish, regardless of what it might be, a partner with whom they can indulge said fetish safely, sanely, and with mutual consent. And, perhaps, a community in which they can find comfort, and learn.

Otherwise, I just don't wanna know. And I have no intention of telling my kids what their mommies do in the bedroom...the mechanics of the birds and the bees, of course...but kink, not their business what we do in that regard...

Seconded. Talking about my children about sex will be just in the way of education. The details I leave up to them.

I mean, if my dad told me details of him and mom, I would loose all will for sex for quite a while.
