Painted Toenails: All the Rage?

Just curious if others have noticed this trend. I'm seeing ALOT of women with painted toenails. Especially darker hues. Granted, many of you aren't seeing many bare or sandled feet due to where you reside, but for those of you who live in warmer climes, are you also noticing this trend?

i live in a beach community and unfortunately, i haven't seen many painted toenails. if they are, it's usually a boring red.

It seems to me that all the polished nails that i see are either black or some other dark color. That to me is boring! 😛issed Or either the light pink that I really hate unless it is accompanied by a very dark tan!

As the weather gets colder, it will just be nice to see some bare toes of any nail color!

haha i agree with the last statement. that and i hate pink toenails lol.

Oh where I live we see many blue or green toes. This is because people stupid enough to wear sandals at this time of year suffer from frostbite and end up losing them :cry

However I have a part time job working at a high street clothing store, and generally get stuck on ladies footwear. Fate? I think so. It really is like inviting a cat to a party full of drunken mice.

There are still a few out here wearing sandals, but yes, I have noticed many wear dark colors. I have even seen nail adds with toes painted dark colors, so apparently it is a trend. I don't mind it, but only if it is on the right girl. I prefer more exotic colors, but at this time of year, showing off your feet doesn't really make very much sense anyways.

I can't really say that it is a trend. It is something that always ebbs and flows. Ladies have been painting toenails as almost as long as fingernails. If the tide happens to be rising then that is cool.

Polish colors always change with the seasons, as we go into the winter months they get darker and then lighten up in spring and summer, plus the new collections are out and they always have alot of influence.
