Our theater had about 100 people watching it on opening night, it was more of a comedy then a scary flick, everyone was laughing at how freaked out their female counterparts had gotten at the movie.
Didn't like the first one, never bothered with the rest. A color filter on an unstable cell phone camera is not worth the 12.50 that my movie theater is asking.

Since "The Blair Witch Project" it seems to me that "Paranomal Activity" is only a kind of repetitive movie art that uses the amateur footage style as a certain marketing strategy. Nothing new to me.
