be aware that passive arts clips on clips4sale use quicktime player and the only thing you get is sound no picture, quicktime is the worst player to use for clips and i would really like to see some of there clips i have already purchased one and all i got is sound. No there is nothing wrong with my computer other clips play so if anyone from passive arts is on here could you please tell them to consider using a different player quicktime sucks

We have literally sold hundreds (about 250 at last count) of clips within the past week and you are the ONLY one that has had a problem. It is either your computer or something with the website itself. You can go to support on the clips4sale website and they will help you. We actually download each clip ourselves just to make sure that everything is okay. I take great offense when someone comes on here and says that our clips are not working. You can actually download our clips in 3 different formats which is the best you can get on that site. Other producers usually have only 1 or 2 formats in which to download clips. If you continue to have problems after contacting support, then you can contact me personally at Passive Arts. Thank you....

If the files are in .avi format and you are using a MAC, you may or may not be screwed. You can convert some avi files for MAC QT, but there's one type of avi (5, I think) that cannot be played on MAC no matter what you do. In all honesty, WMP files are the most usable. Quicktime's a great format, but producers should never use .avi --

If your file is not .avi, well, nevermind :bump:

Macs and Clip Formats

I'm a Mac guy, and something I've found very helpfull is a little program called "Flip 4 Mac". The full version is around $75, not sure what that gets you, but I'm using the free version. It runs in the background and converts any video format so it will play smoothly in Quicktime Player on the Mac. Since I've started using it, I've been able to watch every clip I've downloaded. Not sure if this will help you, but I thought I'd throw it out there for anyone having problems viewing clips.
