Anyone here game on their PC/Mac? I'm waiting for the new core i7 I ordered off Newegg to arrive so I can assemble my new badass gaming rig. I've been gaming on consoles for years and love them, but there's nothing like playing Bioshock 2 and Fallout 3 on max settings; plus you don't have to pay a subscription fee for multiplayer and premium services.

@FlockOfSeagulls: Very true, so allow me to be more specific. I went with the recently discounted 950 along with 6GBs of DDR3 RAM and an EVGA 1GB FTX-450 graphics card.

I got this game called torchlight. Its from the developers of diablo 1 and 2. ITs fun as hell. The only downside is that it has no multiplayer. However, the sequel takes care of this. Its a fun and cheap game to play. Its only 15 dollars at amazon.com.

Yeah, downloaded it from Steam a while back but haven't really played through it yet; it's a good game I hear.

im playing a destroyer and you get a pet tiger or dog. The dog levels up and is actually really strong. He also runs back to town to sell your unwanted equipment and then returns after a minute or so with the gold. After playing this game im dying to go back to wow.

Never played WOW, although I am looking forward to going back and playing the old-school Warcraft and Diablo games someday. Just finished Bioshock 2 and Batman Arkham Asylum recently on the computer. My rig was too much of a hassle to bring home from school, but I'm still gonna keep my eyes peeled for those Steam Christmas and New Year's deals.

Never played WOW, although.

WoW held my attention for about a week. Too many 11 year old uber-nerds (no offense) running around.

What I really miss is SWG, before they went and fucked it up.

Lol, well at least there's the Old Republic on the horizon, right?

IDK, one of these days I'll probably check out an MMO; as soon as I finish with the massive pile of unbeaten titles I have laying around. And the Steam Christmas sale is only exacerbating the problem 😉
