Pc's keep freezing my computer-any advice?

For the last couple of days, anytime I try to pc anyone or they try to pc me in the chat, it has been causing not only the chat to freeze, but also my whole computer to freeze as well. I cannot pc, talk in the chat, or even move my computer anytime I try to pc, and I have no idea what's causing it. If anyone might have any hints or suggestions as to what the problem may be, I would appreciate if they could post here with any advice or suggestions, because Iam clueless as to what the problem is, and it's annoying because it causes my whole comp to freeze where it wont even allow me to do anything else with it. Thanks.

Mitch, that used to happen to me all the time. It's one of the reasons I rarely use the chat room...since many folks won't take no for an answer and not PC me. I tried all kinds of stuff to correct the issue. Nothing worked. I hope you have better luck than I did!

hmmm you might have spyware issues. You may need anti virus software or anti spyware software to get rid of it. Spyware is a nasty thing. They begin to download and install things on your computer eating up hard disc space, eventually, this may cause a computer to crash, freeze, lag your modem. I think cnet.com has some anti spyware shareware that you download.
