Each morning we wake,
A new day to slay,
But the weight of mistakes,
Hangs heavy and stays.
Baggage that lingers,
Adds weight to our hearts,
But it's not in the burden,
Where true strength starts.
Only when we see,
The extra weight we bear,
Won't make us stronger,
It’s then we’re aware.
Yet it's easier to say,
Than it is to show,
Of this I am guilty,
Trust me, I know.
So, I wish you the strength,
To finally release,
What's holding you back,
And preventing your peace.
A new day to slay,
But the weight of mistakes,
Hangs heavy and stays.

Adds weight to our hearts,
But it's not in the burden,
