Why are people online so close minded to other peoples fetishs? Now im not saying all People online are like this. But most people are. This is just my personal experiance on this (Dont know about everybody else) but when i do about talking to people online about my fetishs of belly buttons and Tickling with Girls and even some Guys. If not most of time there offended and turned off by me talking about my fetishes. and They think its some sort of perverted thing that i would like belly buttons and Tickling so darn much and they don't talk to me anymore of ignore me and ask me how could i like theses things so much and that i need help or that i need to Grow up in my life. or The other half will not mind talking to me about my fetishs at all but they wont seem to really be into it they'll reply back with short answers and just seem to go along with what im saying and try to move on. why are theses people so close minded online (in chat rooms etc..) because they just don't have any fetishs at all themselfs? or that they don't wanna be Quote on Quote be seen as Weird or the odd ball out online and with there peers for having a fetish or too? I would never be close minded about another persons fetish (Even if i didn't agree with that persons fetishs or i saw it as sick and Gross) at least i would try learn about it alittle bit from the person (Im not saying i would starting into that other persons fetish whatever it may be) but insted of just shuting that person off that was talking to you because of there fetish and ignoring them and stop talking to me. or Because they like a certain thing more then the next person would Maybe im way out of line here and off the deep end on this one here.......... but that is the way i feel about it. Maybe you Guys have different thoughts on the matter

Cant say for certain as I have never made it a habit to discuss or even mention this to anyone online that wasn't already "here". But I for one have never ever looked down upon someone for whatever it is that floats their particular boat. There are all kinds of us weirdo's out there. And hey, guys who want to get pissed on need lovin the same as we do. They just go ubout it in a slightly less hygenic matter.

I used to encounter the same thing, but I don't now because I realized that it's mostly about WHERE you're bringing up the subject. Believe it or not, most people don't come on the net to explore fetishes or even talk about them. I wouldn't go on a music site talking about tickling. What for? It's a little different when you're already on a fetish related place and THEN people are closed minded. But when we're off line, we don't go bringing up tickling or belly buttons when going to neighborhood watch meetings, or to the gym or your local bar. It's out of place and doesn't make too much sense.
I will say this. I think women in general probably wouldn't catch nearly as much flack for bringing up tickling as a fetish or interest regardless of the place. Strange double standard I guess. But ladies, if you feel different about that, let me know.

Actually you make a good point. It's far more acceptable for men to be into , say, breasts. They ogle, stare, fantasize, etc and that's considered normal. But if a woman were to behave the same way toward men's chests it'd be sort of odd.
Likewise for women to be into something as touchy-feely and intimate as tickling that's probably considered more acceptable and normal cause women like that sort of stuff anyway.
I think actually it's more "normal" for a man to have a fetish or a fascination with a body part (be it feet, breasts, whatever) than to have a thing for tickling or other intimate act.

I've no idea. That's why I specified that it isn't really kosher on non-fetish sites. Yeah I've had similar experiences. People around on a board talking about spanking, yellow showers (i refuse to call them 'golden'), hardcore spanking, whipping, pain, stilleto trampling.....and then I say "tickling" and it's like the needle slides off the record at the party and everyone stops. Beats the hell outta me. I just know those like myself with healthy foot fetishes owe a debt of gratitude to Eddie Murphy for bringing it mainstream in "Boomerang". After that movie, it was okay for anyone to honestly admit to a love of pretty feet.

Lots of possible reasons. Maybe they feel somewhat ashamed of their own fetishes, and ridiculing yours makes them feel better about theirs. Aside from that, it is my experience that many people are simply narrow minded in general, refusing to accept that any perspectives besides their own are more or less equally valid. I believe such narrow-minded behavior begins with insecurity in their own perspectives.

I understand, because I am 90% trample-domme myself, though I also like tickling, mild spanking, and body sitting 🙂

One reason that I post at sites like T theater is to try to bridge some of the gap between our different communities. I run my own sites as "multi-fetish" forums, where tickling people can find out a little about trampling and foot-dom people, and vice versa, and hopefully understand each other a bit better.

I personally draw the line at the excretory and ultra-violent material, which most of my own friends find disturbing, but I try to keep an open mind about things like food-crush and stuffed animal demolition, which are surprisingly popular in the trample community 🙂

Actually it's my daughter's. All of those are. My collection is safely stored away out of the curious hands of destructive toddlers. And yeah for some reason carebears are back. Oh I love carebears. I think they are just the cutest things. 🙂 And in my opinion as far as sappy "learn a lesson" cartoons go they are much better than what is available today.
I was out Christmas shopping today though and I saw something scary. Carebears that talk, whislst moving their heads and mouths. I am not really into teddy bear destruction myself, but a lot of my male friends are. One guy recently told me that if he sees a "furry" stuffed animal he identifies with it, and wants to see it stomped by booted women 🙂
