It occurred to me that I blow way too much time online just farting around, accomplishing little-to-nothing. So, to whittle away at the lost hours, I'm considering choosing a regularly scheduled day of the week (or month or something) where I purposefully stay offline.
I seem to recall hearing about a once-a-year event like this. You know, a day when everyone is encouraged to enjoy meatspace in preference to digital land.
Anyway, I'm wondering if anyone else has purposefully set any kind of limits on their own activities on the Net, be it once a year, or keeping to only an hour or two per day, or whatever?
Thanks for reading, and I encourage any opinions/advice in the matter.
