Petition: Please Read

Moderators, if I am out of line, please let me know, but I feel that this is a democratic forum, and it should be run as such.

The TMF member known as Sbourne has on numerous occasions made posts of pure libel and malcontent directed at RealTickling.com. I personally am offended by these posts and feel that such behavior is not befitting of the atmosphere that should be upheld in this community. I am hereby starting a petition in order to allow other members to state their opinion on this matter. I feel that Sbourne's behavior is detrimental to this society, and that he or she should not be permitted to post any more slanderous material. It has already been established that the views held by this Sbourne are unfounded and totally unjustified, and should thereby be stricken from this forum, and not permitted in the future.

TMF members, please "sign" this petition by replying and stating your screen name. Perhaps this issue will be looked at more closely if our voices are heard.

CRUCIFY HIM! ...................... uh, ya or not. I don't know I agree with on both sides. On the one hand, sbourne guy thing is infact trying to bring down TiB's business. On the other hand, aye, this is just the internet, and a forum for people to get to know others who share the common interest. This is why I chose to be a general, because "a soldir has the advantage of looking his enamy in the eyes".

Sbourne made his first complaint on May 18, and TIB was there on May 18 to respond with this, in part:

"by the way, did some of you know that now and again we get someone who buys clips, then emails us requesting the passwords FROM AND EMAIL ADDRESS THAT BOUNCES BACK EVERY CORRESPONDANCE WE TRY TO SEND?

rest assured, we take very seriously the fact that we are required to give you what you paid for. we'll always get things worked out as fast as we can but... we sure as hell need some kind of communication (from an email address that actually works) about what the problem is..."

From that response onward, TIB was in the clear and 19 zillion TMF'rs came to his defense. Sbourne's rants ended up garnering a bucket full of excellent PR for TIB, and I see no problem with that.

The board mods did a good job leaving these posts intact.

Sbourne's last post was on May 25 when he started rant #2, nothing since.

Now, if I was a fan of cheap conspiratorial scams, I might conclude that Sbourne was actually TIB's secretary who was ordered by TIB to sign onto the TMF from home using her own ISP and unique IP address in order plant those posts so that TIB could come gallantly charging to the forefront with his excellent and logical rebuttals.

But I'm not a fan of cheap conspiratorial scams so I'm slapping myself silly for even suggesting that.

The groundswell of support that emanated from TIB's past customers is another point in TIB's favor.

Sorry TIB, I'm just in a rabble-rousing mood, I honestly don't think you would stoop that low.

I wouldn't hesitate to to give you my credit card number and download your stuff by the gigabyte, but first you have to learn how to apply fluffy ostrich feathers to a helpless damsel's armpits...

TIB knows this all to well, being in a customer service industry, as I do having worked CS for a long time.

There are good customers
There are bad customers
There are wierd customers
There are crazy customers

...and then there are the lunatic fringe which make up 1 in 100,000 who have stepped over the edge and done a swan dive into his or her own little world.

Signing a petition won't do any good, this person will rant and rave on ANY site and to anyone who will listen. Here is how you deal with loonies, Do NOT respond to them 🙂. If people see a random post where they think they were ripped off by a company and there are 30 posts saying good things then most people will ignore the crazy person, the cheese will stand alone.


You can't make everyone happy, sorry, not going to happen.

TIB handles things in a professional manner to the best of his ability, and that is more than you can say for some merchants kink or otherwise.

I can't point out anything specifically but I am sure I don't believe in 100% of everything TIB says or does, but I do support him in this case.

For the record I have dealt with customers we credited and said that they may want to do business elsewhere after complaining, bitching, moaning, crying, whinging, pleading, threatening, etc. only to have them try to come back a month later and sneak in under the radar. If you are so upset why keep coming back and buying more stuff?


This scenario illustrates the mind numbing stupidity of the CAC (Crazy Ass Customer).

How much money have you lost?

Five dollars.

Five bucks, why did you put five bucks worth of change into the vending machine when it isn't working?

Because I really wanted a soda.

hey everyone. i really appreciate the positive support (from all of you) that was given us regarding this issue. but like someone just posted, it goes with the territory of selling a product. there are just some of those kind of people that... well... don't act right.

but anyway, it appears that it has died down and maybe won't happen again for another couple years? 🙂 and like someone else mentioned it actually turned out to be a rather good advertisement for the GREAT customer service we really do provide. so that was cool. the moderators made the right call.

therefore, no petition needed. no further discussion really needed. it's old news. but listen, Phatteus, we REALLY appreciate what you tried to do here. you are obviously a person who doesn't like to see lies and slander allowed to happen. for that i salute you. why don't you email us and say hi right now at [email protected]

other than that, we may as well let this issue die.
