It's a clip with some so-so music while words appear saying why pit bulls are good dogs and not mean and how crappy humans are because it's in our nature to abuse everything in the universe. It only shows a few pictures of really badly abused dogs. Nothing too disgusting. And it's got a lot of pictures of perfectly normal pit bulls as family pets.

and what may i ask is the point of this? i mean, ya, not all pit bulls are mean, but if i see one on the street, no matter what, i ain't gonna go pet it like it's a golden retriever. pit bulls are known for their viscousness, that's what they were bred for, same as dobermans and rotweilers.

Some pit bulls are bred for visciousness...there are a lot of perfectly healthy pit bull bloodlines that have had the meaness bred out of them. Dogs that come from long fighting lines may have a nastier disposition so you're probably wise to avoid strange dogs, especially if you live in an area where dog fighting is a big problem.
But of course that goes for ANY strange dog. I try to avoid the little snappy yippy dogs for the same reason. 😛

there was a top 6 of the most viscious dogs put in our newpaper a while back. Pitbulls were Number 1, ChowChows Number 2... I think Dacshunds were like 5 or something..

It looks like I'll have to reply here.
The title itself should give some insight into what the clip is about. The first several seconds are nothing but a content warning, so the viewer can use his or her judgment. If you think a clip that has such a warning is one you'd rather avoid, then by all means do so. It's better to be safe than sorry.
The obvious reason to post this would be to offer interested people a slant on this particular subject. Considering that animal abuse is never pretty, I will
reiterate that the first several seconds of the clip are a graphic content warning.
Since I've already gotten 2 replies from a moderator about it, I'll pull if it requested. Or, if the mods find it not to their liking,they can feel free to do the same.

I'd never qualify as an animal rights activist. I have hunted, fished, popped off rodents and troublesome pests, and have no problem with anyone else who does so safely.
As for the clip, I posted it in a yahoo group. One person, an animal rights activist, hated it. Another, a person who has owned both pit bulls and rottweilers his whole life, thought it was excellent. Opinions will vary widely, and I guarantee I'll pull it rather than take the time for a frame-by-frame evaluation.....old age has eroded my patience levels.
