Planning on a new Collab project.

Once upon a time, a member of the T.T. community orchestrated what I felt was the greatest, most well-organized Artist Collaboration ever seen on T.T, or any other Tickling Community forum to date.
That member was C.C (Cheshire Cat), and that Project was also known as 'STRANDED: Summer Swimsuit Spectacular!' (too lazy to link; if you browse it here you'll more than likeley find it... or someone will link it. ^^ )

This set wheels off in my head, and I started formulating Ideas of my own...
What I am about to propose is inspired by Golden-Age comics, as well as the old 'Peril and Pulp' Magazines from days of olde. (we can thank a few fellow members of the T.T. for wheting my appetite as well; Nameley Sammi-Chan and her 'Danger in the Air' Series of Magazine covers, as well as some Digital art by C.C.... again. [ Parenthasies within parenthaseis... LUV YOU MAN!!!] )

So at this point, I want to see a show of hands of who might be interested!
A little bit of research may be involved, regarding old mags comics of that time-frame (50s-70s- ish...) And I want to see about featuring some original stories/comics, as well as old-fashioned Ads and 'mail-in' offers...

I'm no artist, but you may find some thematic ideas in the "Women in Danger" thread over in the Non-Tickling Images subforum, which I have begun cluttering up with just the sorts of old mag/comic-covers you speak of!

Definitely sounds interesting to me. I've actually been kicking around how I'd pull off a tickling themed DitA cover.

The covers that Rick posted are truly fucking fantastic as inspiration. Seriously, I never woulda gotten DitA off the ground without a dozen of them tucked safely on my harddrive.

I'm down with the idea, Cap'n. Is this gonna be formatted as an actual zine from cover to cover?

In answer to your question; Yes, From the front to the Center-Fold, to the Fake Ads and Mail-in offers!
And seeing as how you've shown a large deal of interest in the topic prior, You can help me oversee/manage it as well as contribute! or you're certainly more than welcome to!
In the meantime, look at them DitA Covers... Ask yourself "What kind of stories do they tell...?" 😉

Actually, I'd considered either writing or asking writers if they were interested in putting stories to some of the covers I do. Conversely, they could do a story and I'd give it a cover treatment. But I digress...

I'd be willing to help you keep things in order wherever possible. And I'll toss what art I can into the mix, though I might be slow due to other obligations. There's a few more questions that spring to mind, but they don't have to be answered right away. First priority would be to see who can contribute to the project. C'mon people! Step right up! 😀
