Please don't have your feet hanging out of a moving vehicle!

The other day I was driving on the freeway heading home with my best friend's from his father's house up in the mountains. When I was getting into Fresno I saw someone's feet hanging out of their truck in my rear view mirror. I had to swerve a little in my lane to scoot over because I thought his feet was going to hit part of my truck as they drove by. I'm not saying it's someone on here, I'm just know that there's a lot of people who talk about feet hanging out of the vehicles windows so i'm just saying if you do it, please be careful! You shouldn't do it while the car is moving, definitely not on a freeway where there's high speeds involved. You could lose your feet... of course you could also just get hurt for not sitting properly if you're in an accident.

I saw someone doing this when I was driving home from a relative's house. They were already going much too fast and whipping around corners. If they were about to hit something, there isn't any way they could have stopped in time. It probably would have broken his ankles. People are so reckless when they're driving.

Oh I think it's MONSTROUSLY stupid hun. Putting your hand just a little bit out the window is okay (when not in crowded traffic) but sticking your LEGS OUT? That's ASKING for a grievous injury and there's an old phrase, "Don't Tempt Fate"! Because sooner or later fate will find a nasty little way of making sure you wake up one morning and try to get out of bed only to remember you don't have you FEET ANYMORE because you were BATSHIT STUPID enough to hang them out your car window!

I might just be tired, but I'm pretty sure the examples above were of passengers doing this, so I've got one for you...

I was driving to a friend's house out of state and was on the highway. I get into the fast lane to pass a few people, and as I'm glancing over to look at the cars, there's a lady driving a mini-van with both of her feet stuck out the window. Driving. Both feet. How...why?? To this day I still don't know what she could have been thinking! I can see people doing it from a passenger seat (while still not the safest thing), but while driving is a death wish waiting to happen!

Smart-ass ending paragraph: as a "foot guy" on the site, I appreciate the attempt, but have someone else behind the wheel, and maybe just stick to the dashboard as a foot rest 😛 And hold off on the "women drivers" jokes, I've seen waaay too many guys being jerks as of late...
