A niece on my mothers side whom I was close to when growing up just had her newly born baby die in surgery. The baby was born severely deformed (aka a cone shaped head, bulging eyes, and no mouth).

The doctors tried to give it a mouth and only prolonged the child's suffering and ended up killing the child in surgery. My niece doesn't want to be contacted but she is EXTREMELY upset and needs anyone and everyone to pray for her and her lost little one.

Her name is Mary and she lives in New York state. The childs name was Alex. That's all the info I can give for now as she doesn't want people phoning her right now. Please just focus kind feelings or prays her way.

It is always a horrible feeling when a child dies... My condolence. I hope that God will be merciful to a good person like her next time, for nobody deserves such a fate. Child is above all innocent being... truly tragic...

the hollywood brother has no offspring so it is hard for the hollywood brother to imagine what she is going through. however the hollywood brother knows the pain of loss and it is something the hollywood brother would never wish on anyone. the hollywood brother is thinking that all the millions and millions of hollywood brother fans out there should be praying for this person right now.

That's a horrible thing. My prayers will be with her as well, though time - and God - can give the only final and complete absolution. It is always so terrible when something like that happens. 🙁
 
I'm very sorry to hear this. It's bad enough when a child dies with no chance to even live life, but most of all the circumstances under which this child, Alex, died make me extremely sad for both the child and your niece, Mary. I can't even begin to imagine the pain through which your niece is going, and I feel absolutely terrible about Alex and his prolonged suffering that he had to endure.

I'm not religious, so I won't send prayers, but I will send my deepest condolences. Nobody deserves this type of pain. I hope you and your niece feel better very soon. My best wishes go out to everyone who was affected by this, especially your niece.
 
I thank you for the opportunity to know of some one who truly needs prayers. I shall say words for her before I sleep tonight. May she recover from her grief as soon as possible and look forward to new horizons.
 
Any untimely death is terrible, but cases like this are especially tragic. Please accept my condolences on this sad occasion.
 
Well I am very sorry that this has happened.I am sure little Alex has crossed safely over to the spirit world and is happy now though.
 
Consider the mother on my prayer list...I'll pass it along to our church's prayer chain as well
 
I have two children of my own and I can only imagine what they're going through. My deepest thoughts and prayers go out to your family. May God bless you and your family somehow in this tragedy.
 
I can't express how much you guys and gals have helped my niece. She really appreciates all your kind and wonderful words. We both thank you so very much. Your all awesome! ^_^
 
Sorry for the loss, but there is an upside. The next timethe mother gives birth, the deceased child's spirit will get the next body. Or so I am told.

My thoughts and deepest prayers go out to your niece and your family Rox_My_Sox that's terrible and horrible news but all my prayers and thoughts in this deep and most sad time go out to you and your family and the niece and everybody. :happy:

It's always tough to lose anybody even if you weren't really very close to them or not. But God def know's the hurt and the pain and the angry and the question of why me and why my baby that your niece is going through right now.

i have not seen a birth...but for a mother to have to go through that pain and to see that kind of tragedy is just beyond horrible and sick
....my prayers go to your niece and that poor child to have only live here to experience that amount of pain
