At midnight I got a call from Pete's mom. He was taken by ambulance to the hospital. He apparently had a mild heart attack. He had been having tightening of the chest for a few days and thought it was an upper respiratory infection. He is in stable condition at St. Peter's Hospital in Albany, NY.

In the morning they are doing a femeral artery catheter to assess the damage. If they find any cloggings they will do an angioplasty.

I will keep everyone informed as to his condition.

Thanks to all who sent wishes.

The angiocath showed that he had 2 blockages. They cleared them out and the blood is now flowing freely. He had minor damage to the heart which they feel will heal itself. Now he needs rest and recovery time, but definitely is responding very well to phone calls and visitors. I was with him and his family all day.

I can not tell you how deeply saddened and shocked I was when I received the news earlier this afternoon. Jen, please let that angel of yours know that he is in all of our prayers and thoughts, and we will be counting every minute until he makes a safe return to us here at the TMF.
