Today marks 3 months since that horrid day when our freedom was challenged and our security questioned. Most of those lost are faces unknown to us yet we feel their loss in our hearts in a deep wound that has yet to heal.
The innocents and heros, both on the planes and on the ground, have been lost through acts of violence against not just their families but against every U.S. citizen.
Please take a moment today to remember those we have lost and to reflect on what we learned as a result. We learned that in a crisis the U.S. will unite in an instant. But we've always been that way.
So please take a moment today to remember and mourn the loss of so many wonderful people. Pray for our armed forces who are doing all they can, quite impressively, to start to put a end to terrorism. Pray for the families and friends affected by the loss of their loved ones. Pray for our Fire Departments and Police Forces who are on the job doing what they've been trained to do and love to do... Help you and I. And pray for us... that we will see an end to terrorism, regain our sense of well-being and security, and that we can grow in spirit through the experiences we all went through as a result of 9/11.
