I know this is a topic that comes up here, and lots of people here know a lot about it, for which I'm grateful. I just wanted to share a story I came across that I thought was a good lesson (and I suspect that's the reason he did it):

People wrote and wrote and wrote to him, and I read some of them, and none of them seem to consider the idea that he didn't do it as a personal thing. He definitely taught them a lesson; it sucks that he may have ruined - or changed - some lives, I won't lie. But just please be aware of this.

Know what's crazy, I've never associated my real name with fetish stuff, but I've given out my credit card info dozens of times online. Talk about needing to reassess one's priorities.

I don't use my real name (except once, a long time ago). I use some fake names, so that when someone asks it over and over again, i give them that fake name. I don't send real pictures, except with very close friends.
