So just wondering if anyone here listen to any podcast? I actually do a horror podcast, but been listening to The no sleep podcast, Bizarre States, and a few on Four Eyed Radio Network. What does everyone like to listen to?

Well, we talk about movie news, strange stories, review movies, trying to get more guest, and waiting still for people to write in so we can read listeners stories.

Do either of you listen to the last podcast on the left? It's my favorite podcast going. It's a horror/comedy show that covers a ton of topics.

It's all about comedy podcasting for me, especially programming coming from the Earwolf network. Comedy Bang Bang is my absolute favorite.

Awesome, and all Podcast are welcome, would like to check out more that's why I asked 🙂

Sounds interesting! Seriously, it's sounds both different than the mainstream and worthwhile!

These are the podcasts I listen to weekly:
- Comedy Bang Bang
- Who Charted
- Never Not Funny
- Beautiful Anonymous (new)
- How Did This Get Made?
- Improv4Humans
- Hollywood Handbook

Does anyone in the TMF do a ticklecast or something? I know 6-8 years ago there were some groups that broadcast a few radio-like shows on here.

Good afternoon, gang.

Man, I came across a fun little gem of a podcast via subscribing to the Howl network, which is essentially Netflix for comedy and pop culture podcasts. It is the brainchild of some sort of media group and Earwolf comedy podcast network.

Aaaanyway, there is a short weekly podcast - The Mysterious Secrets of Uncle Bertie's Botanarium - produced by a group of New Zealanders, including Jemaine Clement of the Flight of the Conchords fame, that drops each Friday on Howl. It is a narrated story with lots of great voice acting and cool original music and sound editing. From the network:

"Travel back to 1768, when the Fortitude sailed from the famous port of Damprot, the Jewel of the Gravy Isles. The ship, commandeered by Lord Joseph Banks (Clement) –nephew of the infamous botanist Bertie Banks – was on a mission to find a plant known to be the very source of pleasure in the world: Heaven’s Clover. This is the tale of that fateful journey."

It's a fun tale featuring plenty of that quirky New Zealand humor. Perhaps you'll enjoy it, too? I'm pretty sure you can check the show out for free at earwolf.com. Howl is $5/month, but there are tons of promo codes floating around for discounts and whatnot. You can get all of the content that you would normally get at Earwolf for free, along with tons of comedy albums, special audio projects and bonus episodes from a bunch of the popular podcasts on the network.

That's all I've got. Happy listening!

In a few weeks I'll be seeing a live taping of Comedy Bang Bang and I'm pretty excited. Anyone listen to anything cool over the past week or so?

Bump, but for how long? Did y'alls ears fall off or something? 😉

I'm counting down to my trip to Denver to see a live taping of the Comedy Bang Bang podcast next weekend! I've been listening to the tour so far and it has been pretty hilarious. And apparently there's a free Lil Wayne concert the night before on Capitol Hill, lol!

I'm about to start listening to Doughboys after a ton of recommendations. A duo reviews chain restaurants and are joined by comedian guests. Lots of folks that I love in comedy, and I've been looking for a new show, so I'm going for it!

Edit: just realized my last post was about the Denver trip. Oh well!

^ Haha, I love How Did This Get Made? so much! I haven't listened over the past month or so since I signed up for Howl. I've been binging on the exclusive content, but that means I'll have a treasure trove of new episodes of my old faves to have on hand.

But yeah, the Roadhouse episode of HDTGM? makes me scream laugh so many times, no matter how many times I listen to it. So many classic eps aside from that, too.

If anyone needs help sleeping, I found an amazing podcast.....you can hear it at http://www.sleepwithmepodcast.com/

I haven't listened to it in a while, but it puts me out in ten minutes flat, usually. And if it doesn't, he's so random and funny, sometimes I fall asleep laughing......he just kind of...murmurs, I would put it on and keep it juuuuust at the edge of hearing.....I have some favorites, all from around the autumn, but I'm sure the most recent ones will do the trick too.

Go try it out, it may work for you. Some friends of mine love it, some it had no effect.
