Anyone else watching the Presidential Debate? If you ever need to brush up on your lying ability, political debates are definitely where to start. :stickout They also makes for a good stand-up comedy sometimes. :lol
 
The debates would have been much more interesting if serious third-party candidates had been allowed to participate.

From what I understand, the US doesn't have a 'third' party in the sense other anglophone countries do does it?

In the US, the two major parties completely dominate elections, with two or three minor parties (Libertarian, Green, Reform Party) usually qualifying for the presidential ballot in many states but typically garnering no more than 1% of the total votes cast.
 
I'll just be glad when the election is over, period! I'm sick of the whole damn mess! But I do plan to vote!!
