Just a question I've been wondering about. The full question wouldn't fit into the poll box, so here it is:
When a story-title promises a tickling interrogation or other agonizing tickle-torment, and then the story itself delivers a much kindlier tickling, do you feel like the victim of an underhanded bait and switch?
o Yes. I wanted to hear the victim scream for mercy, dammit!
o Yes, but I was only disappointed, not surprised, given the author's rep
o No, I expected an evil tickle-torment, but was pleased to encounter something nicer
o No, I was looking for a story that subverts the "agonizing tickle-torment" theme
