I think bush and saddam should have a live debate broadcasted across the world. We dont need another war. Nothing is going to get resolved by blowing things up and killing thousands of people.

I think a live debate would be a fantastic idea. No doubt Saddam would say a lot of things that the US Government doesn't want the world to hear.

In fact, one big insentive for this war from their point of view might just be to shut him up before he shows the world how corrupt politics is... or am I just paranoid?

It's got nothing to do with oil has it... oh no...

I just think it's kind of funny that the US went and sold their nuclear programme to Korea, and at the same time go to war with Iraq because Saddam won't dissarm. Hmmm...

My only problem with the debate is Saddam is the king of telling people what they want to hear, and he's big on diversion, so why would a debate solve anything? War is terrible, but a debate is less effective than inspectors, they may as well have a best 2 out of 3 rock-paper-scissors contest to decide if he can keep the weapons. 😉

How about a boxing match between bush and saddam. If its anything like the tyson fight. Bush will be out of there in seconds. No but seriously. I think the us should try to avoid war. I mean if we drop bombs on them, whats stopping them from sending suicide bombers into america? this is a bad time for everyone. 😡

Apxha, I don't know if you've been keeping up with current events, but you may want to look up the headlines from 9-11-01. Suicide bombers have been here, are here, and hiding between 2 oceans won't stop them from continuing to come here.

Yes, you're right. Only Saddam can show us the true path to freedom from political corruption. A debate between Bush and Saddam is a great idea - this way, the anti-war camp can finally have a voice. Since, you know, they haven't been permitted to march in the streets or anything. Or rant and rave endlessly in every possible venue they can find.
