Possible solution for our problem....feedback please

An aquaintance and I had discussed web hosting recently and I mentioned a problem with bandwidth that we were having. He offered to cut me a friendly deal (which kicks butt over anything else I have ever heard of). I would possibly be able to solve our clip hosting problems once and for all. It isn't free, but I'm estimating that it wouldn't cost more than $100-$150 per month. Psycho may be able to give me the details I need for a better estimation.

So how to absorb this cost? Two ways: If some of the retailers in the community would be willing to support the site in exchange for Flash adds it could work ($10-15/month for tons of hits). or I would accept small donations (I can auction a "thank you" email!)through my ebay account so all could see how much we raised each month.

I'm very open to suggestions. You see the approximate numbers I have to work with above. Thanks!

I think this is a very good idea, but we're kind of in for all that we can handle financially right now. But if you would like to do this as a TMF affiliate so that people could upload pics and clips there to post to the forum via direct linking that would be a good idea.

Basically if you guys wanted to set this up for the users that would be cool, but I've got too much stuff on my hands right now to take another project. I hope it works out and if there is anything I can do to help let me know.
