Well seeing as I was bored today and just happened to be watching Final Fantasy the movie, an idea popped into my head. I doubt it's an original revelation but it's unique to me. I wondered to myself what it would be like to tickle or be tickled in zero gravity. In a sense you're somewhat helpless cause you can't physically run away very easily. You can just flail around and hope to ward off the invading fingers. Just a thought I had to waste some time pondering on. Let me know what your opinions are.

Slight problems come to mind...
Well, the concept of zero-gravity tickling is intriguing. But remember the laws of physics - each action is met with areaction of equal momentum. So all that flailing, as well as scrambling for a better grip by the tickler, would have the two spinning, spinning, SPINNING out of control. I think it would pe practically impossible to tickle unless you wrap your limbs around the ticklee, as otherwise a single bucking against your tickling fingers will send the 'lee well on his/her way away from you, and since the only way in zero-g to follow would be by expulsion/acceleration of matter, you'd have a hard time catching up, given that you don't start projectile vomiting 😛 Bondage would be neccessary, but that would kind of make the whole point of zero-gravity moot, wouldn't it? Anyway, if anyone has an idea on how to counteract these slight complications, it would be nifty to hear 😀
(Bootlegs? Isn't that illegal? I hear they take you away to tickle-camps for obtaining bootlegs 😉 )

Well that would explain the ff movie. Anyway, i think getting tickled in zero gravity wouldnt be much fun. First of all your partner would die from the laughter being you cant breathe in space. Well maybe if ya had some technologically advanced space ship with lots of naughty tools and stuff. I dont know, its tough to say.

O2 is not a problem
Hi,
Lack of Oxigen would not be the problem. You can have zero gravity inside a space station or ship. Hence, you could be naked or fully clothed while you tickle.
The inability to stay still is the problem. I guess you could have a heavily padded room where you can bounce off the walls. 🙂

I remember one the female astronauts saying during a space shuttle press confrence from space (yes, I'm a geek) that one of the weirdest things about weightlessness was that the soles of her feet were now smooth and free of wrinkles. Now the scientific explanation is beyond me...but OH! To be the one who gets to perform THAT examination during flights!

Since there's no gravity, the blood flows differently through the vessels, and, of course, she didn't have any pressure pu onto the soles of her feet while weightless. That would cause the skin to relax, making all wrinkles vanish. You'd also have no hard skin after a while in zero-g, since there's next to no friction to the feet. Of course, it would be interesting to find out how this affects ticklishness... A long-term study would be justified 😉 Geez, I have to get a job in that space-station!

Tickle camps?
God I hope not. My *cough* "illegal" collection is quite large now so I think the punishment would be rather drastic and more than I could handle. Even if it might be kinda hard I think tickling in zero g would still be kinda fun to try at first.
