Post length

Not a problem, but a technical question: What is the length limit of posts here on Tickle Theater?

I'm asking because my last few stories were in the 6000-8000 word range (~40,000 characters), and I was wondering if I was about to run up against a length limit that would require me to split the story into two posts.

OTOH even that much text is only 40-45k or so, or about the size of a small photo or drawing. So I could be nowhere near the max size limit. I don't know; that's why I'm asking.

There isn't a size limit in terms of bytes or bits that you'd hit when posting as far as I know. However, there is a character limit of 100000. I'd imagine you won't run in to that (No one has yet that I know of).

Oh, I did. I posted a 90 page story on here, and it showed me a limit of some sort.

It was a collection of stories. But that's nothing. I have a friend, he is on here in fact. He and a friend made a three hundred page work, and it is still in progress, and the first 113 pages of it are tickle torture.

Well, I'm not likely to do a tickling story longer than 17,000 words, but it's not impossible. I have written a novel (fantasy with lots of bondage & barefoot slave girls but not really any tickling) that runs to 116,000 words, and I am about half-way through writing a sequel.

Multiply word count by 6 to get ~number of characters.

The standard measure of story length is word count, rather than number of pages, btw. The number of words per page can really vary due to margins, line spacing, the font chosen, font size, etc. For example, the above-mentioned novel (Agent of Cern, currently collecting rejections from publishers) is 140 pages in my usual writing format, and 480 pages in the standard manuscript format (double space, 12 point, Courier New font)
