Have you ever tickled, (or been tickled) so long/hard that
the ticklee experiences after shocks, of a sort?

They can't stop laughing, they just kind of lie there, a
limp noodle, bursting into random periodic laughter, shudders,
and shivers for a while after the tickling is long over?

Many, many times actually. Usually after the lee has experienced intense upperbody tickling 🙂

Hmmmm....

As one who has actual PTSD and also has experienced what you're refering to, I don't think I've ever thought of it in that way. But, there are definate similarities. Both can present physical manifestations of the memories. Both result from being overwhelmed by what took place. Both can be a good thing. But, I doubt that a technical discussion of it is what you're after. (If I'm wrong, feel free to tell me and I'll respond in more depth.)

I've experienced this on the receiving end of things. How does it make me feel? Frankly, I love it! It's like having just gone through a swift stretch of river on a raft and then gently floating along in a still pond. Your heart is still racing, your mind still swimming, your body still adjusting to the calm. But, it was so intoxicating that you can't quite let go of the experience. So, you hang on and enjoy it a while longer while your system cools down. There've been a couple of times when I could shut that down at least partly if necessary. But, I prefer to just lay there and go with the flow.

The type of tickling that most often brings me there is a longer, more drawn out period of very light tickling...which is what most drives me nuts. Every so often, someone is able to keep me teetering on the edge. I can't even really explain that properly. It's like...that point where you can almost feel yourself tipping back and forth, wanting it to continue because you're enjoying it so much but also on the verge of wanting it to end because it's gotten to be too much. (I'm sure those who've been lucky enough to experience that will understand what I mean.)

All the time as a 'lee. I like to play blindfolded as you know, and Adam likes to throw a girl around quite a bit so I end up having no idea about up vs down; the disorientation combined with seriously relentless tickling that seems to be coming from all directions makes for a whole different level of subspace that tumbles into the after-effects you describe

This has happened to me more than once I'm sure, but the most intense was probably when I went to a party with my boyfriend for his friend's birthday. We drank all night at this metal bar with a bunch of his friends and then went to one of the kids' houses to crash. We ended up staying up and smoking a bunch of weed and finally going to lay down in the attic to fall asleep. We were all kinds of inebriated and my boyfriend decided to attack me. Now it was late at night, one kid was trying to sleep in the next room and I'm sure there were parents sleeping below us, so I had to hold in every sound.

It was really difficult as the weed and alcohol had made me more ticklish and goofy. After a while I started to get kind of light headed and when it was over I was still twitching and laughing inaudibly for a few minutes. Every touch, even if it wasn't meant to tickle, caused a bit of a jump. Just felt like every nerve ending had a surplus of endorphins rushing through it.

I call that being tickled senseless, in that, for a few minutes after it's over, I'm out of my senses, unable to move or talk, just lying there twitching and giggling. It's only happened to me after a prolonged FF+/m session, two or more ticklers. I like it a lot. 😀

I refuse to believe that it could be a coincidence that you posted
this while I was laying next to you limply, still giggling, and after
you asked me if I had post tickling traumatic stress disorder.

I go shakey, sleepy and really distant for a good 30 mins-an hour

Yes. Sometimes. The person I just worked with was like that. She could not stop laughing/giggling for about 10 minutes.

I don't really consider it a "bad" thing as long as they're doing ok.

I think it's very cool... usually occurs after extended tickling.

I can officially say Yes that has happened to me on a few different occassions.

I think it feels quite amazing! It's like a complete eurphoria.
It could be just me but It's like ultimate freedom.

As for what kind of tickling brought me there, I can't really pinpoint
an exact way but I would definitely say a more intense kind for
a pro-long period.

Ah, yes. I have experienced on both sides. Kind of the opposite of almost touching someone where they are ticklish and watching them jump and laugh. It is an amazing feeling and I don't know what comes over me when it happens. I guess it is just the chaos of it all when it comes over me. When it happens to someone else, I just sit and watch in bemusement. It adds to the tickling enjoyment on the whole.
