Pregnancy and Tickling

This may seem like a stupid question but I'm going to ask anyway.
My Cousin Jenny might be pregnant and I gave her a pretty good tickling the other day. Just wondering if it's safe to tickle pregnant women. (not that I will again. I didn't know she was. nor did she) If you can have sex during pregnancy than I would think it's ok, but I am concerned because I restrained her and tickled her like crazy for a long period of time. Am I over-reacting?

Any thoughts on this?

She should be fine. I've had two beautiful babies and played the entire time (except when I was too nauseous to move, which wasn't too often). The womb is very sturdy, women run marathons and climb rocks before realizing we're expecting. Go easy now that you know but don't fret over what's done 🙂

tickled through out all 3 pregnancies.

and the last one was twins! my wife never suffered any affects, and neither did the kids.

as a dr. told us during my wife's first pregnancy, do everything you did before you became preggers. god knows tickling was a big time consumer! lol

Man, THAT takes me back...

When my ex was preggers with my son, I used to take terrible advantage of her ticklishness, especially late in the pregnancy, when she was too cumbersome to escape (yeah, horrible, huh! So sue me... hee!) One day during one of the countless Well-Baby exams, she ratted me out to the doctor! (who was a petite redhead whom I'd have loved to tickle, but I digress, LoL) After having made the appropriate shocked, supportive, and reproachful noises, she admitted after a pause that not only could it not hurt the baby, but she mentioned that the endorphine release would not only bolster her own immune system, but the baby's as well through her! Oh man, I'd TOTALLY forgotten about this! Thanks for the happy memory, T.J.

I think thats great, the next new Doctor study...things to help your child through pregnancy....lots of folic acid and now tickling!! So men tickle your pregnant wife...lol. I love it.

I would think that tickling during those long hours of labor pains would help ease the pain. I can imagine the pain starting. My feet in the stirrups and my partner tickling my feet. 😀

Um, I think that you haven't given birth yet, hon. Try to imagine a midget with a big head and claustrophobia, wearing Doc Martens, trying to kick and shove his way out of you through your daintiest bits. Imagine this takes him about 12 hours (if you're lucky), during which an insane rush of hormones and horrible pain has made you pretty testy. Now picture someone trying tickle you during this. HE would need the epidural, I promise you

LOL!!! You are right. I have never given birth myself. I prrobably never will either. 🙁 It was just a thought.
