problem playing real media files

i am trying to play .ram files, but realplayer says "realone player needs to download new software to play this clip" and starts looking for something called 28_8. then it says "there is no software update from realone to support this content"

i´va had this problem with several clips, all of them .ram or .rm

anyone knows how to solve this?

never mind. i was just able to play the clips. i just downloaded every plug-in and add on for realone

Ok..Mine is a discressional problem.If you download a clip to real player it's name stays in the "file" dropdown even if you delete it....Sorry if I sound like a numpty but how do I get rid of that?I can't keep reintalling Realplayer as it takes an age!!

Well, this does belong elsewhere but....

Go to "Tools," then "Preferences," then for catagory click "General." Then, at the bottom of the "General" menu area, (To the right of the catagories slot) there is a button that allows you to clear history.
