Problem with my Simone v. mischief post?

I've just seen the strangest thing. I went to look for a post I made last week (i.e. Simone v. mischief) to see if there were any responses. However, the post does not appear in the forum at all.

I see the number of postings on my profile hasn't decreased any, so it doesn't appear to have been deleted, but I cannot find it.

Wait, it gets weirder. When you sort the forum by thread starter rather than date of latest reply, the post is suddenly visible again. is there a problem with the content of my post, or is this just some weird database back end glitch?

if it is a glitch, should I just repost again?

Please disregard my previous post. The "missing post" reappeared as soon as I posted my last one.

Not sure what that was all about, but it's been one of *those* weekends. : )

I could be wrong about this, but I believe sometimes the posts are between pages. With another new thread or two, they will appear on the next page. That's probably what happened with yours.

This is starting to sound like Stephen King's "The Langoliers." (grin) yeah, the darn thing reappeared right after I posted this thread last night, so that would support your theory. I've just never seen that happen before. Also, the numbering of the threads on the bottom of each forum page was correct . . . so, I'm not sure what happened.

But thanks to everyone who helped me last night with this.
