I have recently found an interest in online gaming but have run into problems. It seems that none of them will work on my computer. I think it has to do with my graphics or something like that. I have everything updated and run directx 10 which is supposed to be what I need. I have windows XP and run on charter high speed internet service. I get a message saying that I have a Runtime error, it says that the program is trying to end it in an unusual way. Any tips or tricks to help me out.
Ps. I have been trying to run the game war-rock but I have also tried others that do not work. Thanks for the help.

could you be a little more specific about your computer configuration please?

I am severely computer retarded but Ill try. I am on Windows XP with Intel extreme graphics and Intel celeron processor. I have updated everything I can. I might need to update my graphics card or available memory, not sure. My computer is an older dell, I would like a newer model but do not have any money for that.

Hmm... could be the lack of RAM. Also, if your graphic card is really older, then I am unsure if it is Directx 10 compatible. Try reverting back to directx9, or adding a bit more of appropriate RAM.

Thanks to you both. Ill try those suggestions.

Ok, can someone now tell me how to go back to activex 9 and add more ram. I am so computer deficient. My firewall is not the problem.

Well, the best way would be uninstalling directx 10, though I'm not sure how exactly. About the ram, you need to buy the thing, but be careful that it matches the specifications of your motherboard. Then, just open your comp and insert it next to the other ram (you'll see where it is and you'll see the openings). Just remember to plug it all out before you open it.
