Hi, i have a problem with the videos attached to messages. up until now, when i clicked on an attachment, the media player would have opened, and the file would start loading there, and i wouldn't have to wait until it ends to see a part of it,it just had to load enough to start. However, lately when i click the attachment i get the option to choose whether i want to open the file, save it, or cancel, and if i choose open i have to wait for the whole file to download and only then it opens the media player and plays it. is there any way to return it to the way it was?

What you speak of doing is "streaming" the file directly from the TMF. The TMF update shouldn't have affected this functionality (I don't recommend streaming any files because often the streaming fails to work), although if the way attachments are handled did change it is possible. There should, however, be a way to set your browser to automatically open the file. However, because you said selecting "Open" still meant the file had to be downloaded I doubt it will work. We can try, however. What browser do you use?

and still, the problem started only after the update took place. I'm using IE 7. and thanks in advance for trying to help.

Hmm ... IE does not appear to have options for program control like Firefox does. It looks, from my IE7 testing, that I get the same result you do. However, it is recognizing the filetype and then selecting the appropriate player to work with it once downloaded. I'm afraid I see no way to revert functionality. The TMF update must have changed something, subtle or otherwise, that disabled streaming. 🙁 Perhaps someone else has the answer but this one does not.
