I have had this pproblem with my puter for a long time and do not have the knowledge to fix it, if it is indeed a problem, it may not be important, I hope someone can tell me.
My processor frequently shows very high levels of activity (60 70 precent usage) when i dont appear to have anything running, someitmes it will go to 100 percent and stay there untill I reboot. Then usually it will drop right down to almost nothing, or it might go straight back up to 100 percent or it might gradually go back up to 60 or 70 percent.
I have repeatedly run various anti virus and spyware programmes all of which show the puter to be squeaky clean. I have down loaded a thing called procexp9x which looks fantastic but is so technical that it is beyond my comprehension.I understand this programme can find out what is making my chip run so hard but i have not a clue how to read the information.
Can anyone help?
