..How obvious do you find product placement in films?

For example the use of Marlbrow cigarettes in Jurassic Park, and the never ending cars and gadgets in James Bond

Its usually glaringly obvious to me. Sometimes its fine, more often than not, it feels gimmicky and awkward.
